Gwen Sando - Admin support
Behind every great band is a great woman...and Gwen is the woman behind the magic at Tanunda Town Band! As vitally important as any player, Gwen is the genie who facilitates the smooth running of the band. Gwen has worked for a lifetime in administration and sorting out people to be in the right place at the right time and, in the case of musicians, in the right uniform! As the only non-musician in the team, Gwen is able to concentrate on all aspects to support the band and its activities. She brings her enthusiasm and knowledge to admin support at Tanunda Band Academy to ensure that it is a success!
Sam Eccles - Admin support
Sam currently plays Tenor Horn with Tanunda Town Band. She played trombone in a highly successful youth band in the UK and after an extended hiatus, began playing again in Victoria. In 2014 Sam moved to South Australia and joined TTB. When the 1st Horn player left the band, Sam was asked to transfer to the Tenor Horn and at the tender age of forty-something, learned to play an instrument with valves!
